Care and Community Counter

Urban district Zuidoost now has a Care and Community Counter.
From now on you can go to the urban district’s council building at the Anton de Komplein for information and advice about welfare, care and housing. The Care and Community Counter has been set up under the Social Support Act (Wmo). This act states that the municipality has to support people with an impairment so that they can continue to live independently at home for as long as possible and can continue to participate in the community.

What does the Care and Community Counter offer?
If you want information or advise about provisions that allow you to keep on living in your own home with a little help, such as a home adjustment, a wheelchair, a personal budget or an alarm system, then you can go to the Care and Community Counter. Via this counter, you can also obtain information and advice about home care, welfare provisions, transport for elderly and handicapped people, living with care, informal care, nursing home care and nursing, among other things. The employees will answer all your questions and show you the quickest and easiest way to the right organisation.
